Limited Edition LeMond frames by Time
wants to celebrate the Tour de France, the beauty of cycling, the art of the
bicycle and capture those amazing sensations of his career.
These bikes do that.
With this exquisite series, Greg commemorates each of his Tour de France victories and honours the man that introduced the first production carbon fibre racing bicycle.
Greg rode a bike from Jean-Marc Gueugneaud to win his first Tour de France in 1986. He worked intensely with TIME France to produce bicycles that are unmatched in their engineering, quality of construction, and ride characteristics. Each bike is painted to recall the colors of his teams and the bikes he rode during those landmark races.
edition of the bike uses the colours of the Combination Jersey. This jersey is
awarded to the best overall rider in each jersey category in the Tour de France, which Greg won in both the 1985 and 1986 Tour.
Working with TIME is special to Greg for many reasons. He has been able to reunite with Gueugneaud on this project. Gueugneaud recognises and honours the opportunity of providing him with every one of his Tour de France winning bikes.
There is so much to share about the history of TIME, Jean Marc, carbon fibre and how these bikes came to be that we couldn’t fit it all in this space. The attention to detail, precision, and exclusivity of these frames will standout in any collection, and if you dare, the local coffee shop.
